Pi Installation | Seeper

British based, arts and technology collective Seeper developed a giant interactive Pi for the 2008 Glastonbury Festival.

The question that triggered the concept: “If there is no beginning and no end, then what?”
their answer” Pi, Pie or a circle?” In this instant a 16 metre round Big Top tent in the festivals Trash City area, that responds to the motion of the people within it.

El grupo artistico/tecnologico Ingles, Seeper realizo una pieza interactiva gigante, Pi en el Glastonbury Festival del 2008.

La pregunta que activo el concepto para la pieza: "Si no hay principio y fin, entonces que?"
La respuesta de ellos: Pi, Pie o Circulo?/ En ese instante una carpa de 16 metros de diametro ubicada en el festival, responde al movimiento de la gente que la visita.

I love it... I was thinking about this concept not too long ago - interactive spaces that respond to people's position and movement.

indeed, this were everything is heading, while it's not something that new, this specific project had a very well produced final product, the visuals looked fantastic, and the way is documented really gives you an insight of how it works too!
