Septemeber night was very strong, with VJ Übergeek as the guest video artist, wich to me was a big thing, as I always find it interesting when a video artist has the skill to actually program their own performance application (in this case Cyberspaceland) on top of that, Amy Alexander (her real name) uses a variety of devices to manipulate / control her visuals, game controllers, a wireless keyboard, a remote control, and even a dance pad, are some of the few I remember seeing through out her performance. A lot of type used in her compositions, had the crowd entertained, and for moments I noticed that the crowd was very interested in participating with the dance controller, (when Amy was not looking I saw a few curious feet stepping on it, trying to figure out what it was for.)

Septiembre fue mas que interesante, con VJ Übergeek como la video artista invitada, que para mi fue bastante grande, ya que siempre me interesa cuando un VJ posee la habilidad para programar su propia aplicacion para visualizar en vivo (en este caso Cyberspaceland) encima de eso, Amy Alexander (su nombre real) usa una variedad de dispositivos para manipular/ controlar sus visuales. Controladores de jueguitos, teclado inalambrico, control remoto, e incluso un dance pad, son algunos de los que recuerdo haber visto durante su acto. Sus visuales tenian un alto contenido tipografico, por lo que el publico se entretenia leyendo, y por algunos momentos se notaba el interes de algunos miembros con respecto al dance pad (pude ver mas de un pie curioso encima del mismo mientras Amy no miraba).

Out of Bounds - O'Shea

We've all dreamed about having X-Ray Vision and being able to see through walls, Chris O' Shea, the talented man behind Pixelsumo, was inspired by that same dream when he came out with "Out of Bounds".
An Installation at the Design Museum in London, where visitors are able to shine an "X-Ray Torch" through the walls of the museum in order to reveal the secret areas hidden behind the walls. Watch the video here.

Todos sonamos alguna vez con tener vision de rayos X y poder ver a traves de las paredes, Chris O' Shea, el talentoso hombre detras de Pixelsumo, fue inspirado por esa misma idea cuando creo "Out of Bounds" (Algo asi como fuera de limites). Una instalacion para el Design Museum en Londres, donde los visitantes podian utilizar una "linterna de rayos X" por las paredes del museo, revelando asi los contenidos secretos que se encontraban detras de las mismas. Aviorama features material filmed at an airport and flight control towers, the footage is reworked to an immersive and dense impression, woven in visual poetry, to visual music by DJ Repeatbeat.
