Pic Vert Attack | Sati

This is a really nice piece by Sati , I like the simplicity of the initial part of the video, just a few lines well synchronized with the music can really go a long way, it's not often that you see stuff like this in clubs, usually there is a lot of information being displayed on the screen, multiple layers at the same time, etc. Simple stuff like this always gets my attention.

Sati explains"..(we are) an audiovisual band composed of Erwan Raguenes and myself Jesse Lucas. We write the music together. And then work on ideas for the visuals (often during the track composition). On stage SATI play live and remix the audio visual content using Live and Modul8. We also play analog synths to get the party going." The name of the track? "Pic Vert Attack"

Esta es una muy buena pieza creada por a Sati, me gusta el simple recurso del inicio del video, solo unas pocas lineas bien sincronizadas con la pista de audio puede llegar muy lejos, no es comun ver este tipo de estilo en los boliches (clubs), en gral se ve un monton de informacion en las pantallas, multiples layers (o canales) al mismo tiempo. Cosas simples como estas, siempre me llaman la atencion.

Sati explica: ...(nosotros somos) un conjunto audiovisual compuesto por Erwan Raguenes y yo, Jesse Lucas. Nosotros escribimos la musica juntos y tambien trbajamos las ideas para los visuales (muchas veces mientras componemos la musica). En vivo Sati toca en directo y remixa el contenido utilizando Live y Modul8. Tambien usamos sintes para continuar la fiesta". El nombre de la pista en el video es "Pic Vert Attack"

Advanced Beauty: Mateuniverse

Another gem found at the Accenfeed Vimeo Channel,
Communication Designer Jan Mathias Steinforth, born 1977 in Hannover, Germany, is professionally experienced in multimedia and graphics design. Under his VJ alias of mateuniverse, has been touring Europe for more than two years now.
You might remember Punk Motherfucker, if you been reading this blog for a while.
This piece has no information other that it was created in After Effects and for the title I assume that its for the Advanced Beauty project. Amazing work!

Otra gema encontrada en el Accenfeed Vimeo Channel, por el disenador y comunicador Jan Mathias Steinforth desde Hannover, Alemania. trabajando mayormente en el area de multimedia y diseno. Con su alias de Vj mateuniverse ah estado viajando por Europa por casi 2 años. Si has estado leyendo este blog desde hace mucho quizas recuerdes Punk Motherfucker. trabajo de el mismo Steinforth.
Sobre esta pieza no hay mucha informacion mas que fue hecha en After Effects, y por el nombre adivino que es para el projecto Advanced Beauty, Buenismo el trabajo.

Los Angeles based video artist and La-Va member Vj Fader just informed me about a set of 38 video loops created and is distributing for free for Vjs everywhere to use, so go grab em, and make sure you peep his Vj software Neuromixer. You can preview the loops on his video mix above.

El video-artista de Los Angeles, y miembro de La-Va, Vj Fader, me acaba de informar que lanzo una seleccion de 38 loops que produjo con intencion de distribuir en forma gratuita para todo aquel que quiera utilizarlos, puedes bajarlos de aqui. Y ya que estas, echale una mirada a su Vj Software Neuromixer. En el video de arriba podes ver los loops en un mix creado por el mismo autor.

Naked : Paris

I'm really really impressed with the quality of work coming from Paris based Naked, while they do mostly motion graphics, not Vjing, on this particular project for the NRJ Music Awards and recording artist Mika, they developed concert visuals, that while they really did not have the responsive connection/ interaction that a live video artist could provide, they did create an interesting atmosphere during the performance. Great graphics, simple but with a great feel. You can see both above the motion output and the actual show broadcasted on French TV, with the graphics in the background. Make sure you browse around Naked's website, all their projects look amazing.

Estoy mas que impresionado con el trabjo de la agencia de motion graphics Francesa, Naked. Si bien su trabajo no es directamente Vjing, en este proyecto particular realizado para los NRJ Music Awards y el musico Mika, crearon unos fondos animados para el evento, que si bien no ofrece la respuesta / coneccion inmediata que un artista visual en vivo puede otorgar, creo que sirven para crear una atmosfera visual durante la presentacion del artista. Arriba pueden ver los dos, el trabajo de animacion que se uso durante el evento, y la transmicion emitida en la television francesa durante el concierto.

PISTA: Es buena idea mirar los dos al mismo tiempo (muteando el audio del video de mas arriba)

Here a few photos from the last Brokenbeat night, once again L.A. based, Vj Fill was our guest Vj for the night, and every time he is around I hear compliments from people I know and complete strangers, Fill has this thing with security cameras, that he spreads around the venue, and uses to do realtime scratching(scrubbing?), and I think a lot of people noticed that when he started using it on the dancing crowd, as they wondered "how is he doing that?"

On the music side we had the heavy sounds of dubstep with Osal8 and Breakah and on the jazzy side Cuttyman and Dj Collagey

Also a little video flyer I made for the event, consistent with the print flyers, same type, colors etc.

Aqui algunas fotos del ultimo Brokenbeat night, una vez mas Vj Fill de Los Angeles fue el Vj Invitado a participar a mi lado, cada vez que anda por aca recibo elogios de conocidos y gente que no conosco, Fill tiene esta mania con camaras de seguridad, que utiliza en su rig distribuyendolas por el local y que utiliza en sus visuales haciendo scratch (scrub?) en tiempo real. y creo que la audiencia lo nota, sobretodo cuando los incluye en las pantallas, mientras ellos se preguntan: "como hace eso?"

En el lado musical tuvimos los sonidos pesados del dubstep de la mano de Osal8 y Breakah y del lado jazzy a Cuttyman y Dj Collagey

Tambien pueden ver un pequeno video flyer que hice para el evento, manteniendo consistencia con los flyers impresos.
