UVA At UCLA
[ English ] This sounds really interesting!, United Visual Artists Matt Clark and Chris Bird will be presenting an overview of the practice's process and development on February 10th 2009 at UCLA's Department of Design | Media Arts (DMA). Looks like its open to public.
[ Castellano ] Los Ingleses Matt Clark y Chris Bird, de United Visual Artists daran una presentacion sobre proceso y desarollo este 10 de Fabrero del 2009 en el departamento de Diseno y Artes Mediaticos (DMA) de la UCLA. Parece que esta abierto al publico.
After a lot of research and with the help from Accent Feed's readers I was able to put together a list of some of the 10 most impressive visuals seen in concerts in 2008.
This was not intended to be taken as a competition, or to see who is better than who, I believe you can't measure who is the best band, or who is the best VJ in the world, this is meant to inspire other video artists/ video art lovers, and to spread the word about the importance of video art/ visuals in concerts.

[ English ] openFrameworks is a C++ library for creative coding. Inspired by the following question: Can artists make tools, at the same time that they create artwork?
[ Castellano ] openFrameworks es una libreria de C++ para programacion creativa, inspirada por la siguiente pregunta: Pueden los artistas crear una herramienta al mismo tiempo que crean arte?
[ English ] Here is a little clip I found from the OneDotZero festival that took place in Buenos Aires, featuring United Visual Artists. As usually top notch, one of the many things I love about UVA is that the content is changing depending on where they are performing, I just noticed a lot of information on the screen that features a lot of local (from Argentina) feeds of random information about television networks / sattelite and news.
[ Castellano ] Aqui un pequeno clip que encontre sobre la presentacion de United Visual Artists en el festival OneDotZero que se llevo a cabo en Buenos Aires hace poquito. Como es de esperar impecable. Una de las tantas cosas que me gustan de los actos de UVA es como cambian el contenido visual, dependiendo de donde esten llevando a cabo su acto, en las pantallas se puede leer lo que pareciera ser informacion sobre programacion televisiva, noticias varias e informacion satelital.
[ English ] Once again, United Visual Artists with a new mezmerizing project, the images alone look incredible. This recent prototype is a combination of LED/3D camera interactive installation. The user s gestures and motion through the space affect both the visuals and the audio.
[ Castellano ] Otra vez tengo que mencionar a United Visual Artists, increibles las fotografias de su nuevo proyecto interactivo, utilizando una combinacion de LED y camara en 3D, donde los movimientos del usuario afectan las visuales y el audio.
[ English ] Here is a fragment of the U2 Vertigo Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina in March 2006, I believe the visuals where done by UK's United Visual Artists (check their site for a jaw dropping portfolio.) but don't quote me on that.
